Why we chose them
The Cappellini Family, which has been active for years in the wholesale and retail distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables, observed a change in the way vegetables were consumed in shops in 2019: the amount of semi-processed products, prepared to be cooked or regenerated, was growing significantly. So, like all companies sensitive to the market needs, they decided to launch a parallel project, led by Francesca and Luca Cappellini: a vegetable processing laboratory. This led to the creation of a line of clean, ready-to-use vegetables, almost exclusively Italian and totally free of preservatives. A product ready for sale, combining practicality and quality: a high-end side dish for deli shops and a versatile semi-processed product for restaurants. The company has developed a highly specialised production line. It always starts with fresh raw materials that are processed by hand with great attention to cutting and cooking. The result is vegetables that retain all their organoleptic and taste characteristics, bright colours, intense flavours and a unique texture. The vegetables we have chosen are only lightly salted and packaged in microwave-safe bags.
