The producer
Fattibene - Bovino (FG) - Puglia

Why we chose them
Fattibene is a small company founded in 2010 in Bovino (FG), one of the most beautiful ancient villages of Italy, in the province of Foggia, in Apulia.
"Fattibene has been a family of butchers for seven generations" - told us Francesco Saverio Fattibene. The company was founded with the intent to
recover the old working practices of Daunia mountains cold cuts and to produce charcuterie with clean label: no lactose, no gluten and above all no
nitrates and no nitrites.
Moreover the company is equipped with a modern processing plant that totally respects the environment.
The electricity is produced by the photovoltaic, solar thermal and heating from the plant built by a biomass boiler. The water waste produced in the
cold storage, along with rain water, are used for irrigation of the lawn and the surrounding trees, creating an ideal microclimate for healthy and natural
production.
Fattibene products comes from the recovery and rediscovery of the traditional way of processing cold cuts in Daunia mountains like the ancient
"musciscka", a spicy dried pig's meat, probably of Arabian origins, arrived in Apulia through herd migrations.
