Two new products by Marcolin brothers that make us breathe for a moment the late summer sea breeze

We celebrate the first year of collaboration with Gastronomia Marcolin of Padua with two new products. They are two gastronomic fish-based products: a great classic like the Insalata di Mare (seafood salad), and Gamberi in Saor (shrimps in a sweet and sour preparation], the family’s workhorse.
For some time we have been waiting for the company to complete the shelf-life studies on the two products mentioned in order to present them and integrate them into an assortment already rich in gastronomic specialties such as Baccalà alla Vicentina, Mantecato, Condito, Sarde in Saor and Russian Salad.
INSALATA DI MARE
But let’s start with the Seafood Salad, based on cuttlefish, squid, prawns, mixed vegetables, parsley and lemon. A very delicate and fresh mix, in which the flavours of the different ingredients emerge distinctly, in a balance of tastes where the acidity is absolutely minimal.
Despite the presence of a pinch of preservative, the expiration date following production is 20 days. For this reason we will rotate in stock only the 1 kg format.
GAMBERI IN SAOR
Shrimp in Saor, on the other hand, have in themselves a combination of innovation and tradition. The tradition is represented by the saor (typical venetian sweet and sour recipe based on onions), while the innovation by the presence of shrimp (specifically prawns).
The preparation expresses a sweet and tantalizing taste, in a game of textures between the firmness of the shrimp and the softness of the onion. In this case the lifespan is longer and equal to that of the other Marcolin products, i.e. 30 days from production. Available in two sizes, 1 kg and 250 g.
These two gastronomic preparations have been sold for years, and successfully, in the family shop under the Salone in Padua and we hope that they can be interest ing also to enrich the variety of your offer.
