Taste It has the texture of a potato and a taste very similar to that of an artichoke

Our selection The vegetables are sourced in Italy and processed exclusively when fresh, not from brine or previous preserves; a principle that Macedonia dell'Orto follows naturally: Stefano scouts the market not only for fresh produce, but also for vegetables and fruit at their peak in terms of flavour, vigour and ripeness. In the laboratory, Mattia and Andrea take care of enhancing the raw ingredients with light and delicate cooking methods. In choosing this product, we were guided by originality, in order to create a unique offering suitable for both retail and restaurant use
Suggestions Once drained of oil, try it to enrich a pumpkin soup or to add an extra touch to a crouton with soft scrambled eggs, spinach and crispy bacon! Once the jar has been opened, keep the Jerusalem artichokes under the preserving liquid to prevent oxidation; store in the refrigerator

Why we chose them
Mattia and Stefano are the two partners of the young and small company of production of canned food born in Jesolo (VE) that unites their individual skills: the first - Mattia - is a cook and the second - Stefano - a fruit and vegetable merchant. Daily fresh fruit and vegetables are selected at the market or directly at the farmer by Stefano and worked in a small laboratory by Mattia, with respect and attention to the transformation. Everything is found in their preserves, simple and clean on the palate.
