Casa Marrazzo - Pagani (SA)
Why we chose them
We are all children of the earth, and it would be good not to forget it." This is the greatest legacy Teresa and Gerardo Marrazzo received from their
father Carmine: a respect for nature and the agricultural world above all. Founded by Pasquale Marrazzo in the early 1900s, Casa Marrazzo was
initially a farming and horticultural business. In the 1970s, Carmine had the intuition to start transforming raw materials into surplus markets,
especially on behalf of third parties. In the late 1990s, with the entry of the third generation into the business first Teresa and then Gerardo the
production under the brand "Casa Marrazzo" began. And today the family business also includes Gaetano, Teresa's son, bringing it to the fourth
generation. The Marrazzos are "artisans of the good": a family-run artisanal reality that aims to preserve and innovate the ancient art of preserves,
inseparably linked to the local culture. We are in the Agro Sarnese Nocerino, the valley that extends from Vesuvius to the Gulf of Naples, between
the sea and the Lattari Mountains: the land of San Marzano. It is here that the Marrazzo family produces various lines of preserves inspired by the
tradition of the most authentic South, in respect of the environment clean energy, recycling of water and packaging, electric vehicles for sourcing
raw materials locally and the people who work in their Home.
