Suggestions Perfect as an aperitif, the Ligurian olives are a basis ingredient of the Ligurian cuisine: thanks to their delicacy, they add flavor without overpowering with an excess of salt. The olive oil in which they are immersed is also a delicious dressing, suitable for many uses: try it with tomato and homemade bread or as a sauce for pasta with the addition of a bit of grated pecorino cheese

Why we chose them
An ancient oil mill in one of the many small Ligurian villages exposed to the sun, dominating the sea, where the inhabitants cultivated the olive tree, working in a difficult soil where the earth mixes with the stone and the olive harvest is done exclusively by hand, bent under the branches of trees. This is how Frantoio Bianco is born, an artisan company from which has been producing oil and preserves for five generations, using exclusively the Taggiasche olives coming from owned olive groves, in the Impero river valley, where the Bruna family has over 5000 trees, of which 1000 are organically cultivated.
