Why we chose them
With Eat Like a Star, the solution is at hand. This company from Maser (TV), starting from a restaurant experience in Treviso and Venice, has
ventured over the past five years into the production of ready meals, aiming to create not only traditional recipes but also international dishes that
can be consumed at home or within a restaurant business without a traditional kitchen. Since 2020, a phenomenon that was already underway has
intensified, whereby the restaurant offering has expanded beyond traditional restaurants to include wine bars, bars, pubs and breweries, pizzerias,
and hotels. Given the difficulty in finding staff or the inability to have an equipped kitchen, these establishments often seek semi-prepared or ready-
to-serve dishes that can be served with a simple microwave regeneration or by adding a few ingredients to complete the dish. We are therefore
pleased to present this new line that can be served through two channels: the new restaurant sector and the traditional retail sector, which always
needs to expand its offering of ready meals. The strengths of Eat Like a Star are as follows: originality and quality of the dish, single-portion vacuum
packaging without impactful packaging, shelf life of about 30 days if stored in the fridge, ease of use. Eat Like a Star has made a clear choice in
packaging, adopting single-portion sizes ranging from 180 to 250 grams to avoid waste, better control food costs, and facilitate plating without the
need for a chef.
