Description A pudding made with crumbled amaretti biscuits, coffee, cream and bitter almond aroma
Appearance A spoon dessert, similar to crème caramel but with a thicker, darker base
Taste Sweet but not cloying, balanced by the bitterness of coffee, amaretti biscuits and almond
Curiosity All the ingredients are mixed together cold with a whisk, then the mixture is poured into a mould and baked in a bain-marie in the oven for two hours. During baking, the amaretti biscuits rise to the surface and form a sort of crust, which creates a delicious biscuit base when the dessert is inverted
Suggestions Ready to serve! Use a small knife to easily remove it from the mould and pour the remaining caramel over the dessert. Cut into slices and serve. One package yields approximately 5 servings
