Raw material The meat of the pigs used in the production of the Parma Ham. The legs selected are big, about 15kg, and then cooked according to the tradition and the recipe created by Lenti family back in 1935
Appearance The color of the ham is pink and the fat is distributed in the centre and the sides of the ham
Taste The taste is sweet, perfumed, succulent to the mouth and delicately meaty. The aftertaste is sweet, slightly meaty with hints of herbs, honey and brown sugar
Maturing Not expected
Curiosity In 1935 Attilio Lenti decided to open his small workshop to produce the cooked ham. In the 60s the new plant was opened in Santena, technologically advanced, but always with a strong link with tradition. The main objective is always to guaranteed quality
Our selection This ham is prepared according to the original recipe developed by Attilio Lenti in 1935. The pork leg is steam cooked for 24 hours. The recipe calls for the use of Marsala. All products are free of polyphosphates and glutamate, gluten, milk derivatives; the ingredients are not GMOs; the salt content is less than 1,84%
