The producer
Azienda Agricola Fratepietro - Cerignola (FG) - Puglia
Selected because
Proud of its long-standing family traditions, Fratepietro combines centuries-old artisanal expertise with modern agricultural practices. Today, the
company is run by Giovanni and his son Andrea, the latest generation of a family that has been cultivating table olives since 1890, when their
ancestor, Giovanni Fratepietro, inherited the family farm from his grandfather. Since then, season after season, Bella di Cerignola olives have been
harvested by hand, just as they always have been, at the peak of ripeness. They are then processed immediately on the farm using only natural
ingredients and according to time-honoured family recipes. Every stage of the production process is personally supervised by Giovanni, Andrea and
Valentina, whose expertise ensures rigorous quality control throughout the entire production chain. The pursuit of excellence is one of Fratepietro's
core values, together with respect for people, for nature and its natural rhythms, for authentic flavours, and for the principles of sustainable
development.
